Questions answerable with "this is ..."

I would like to ask if there are other questions aside from "what is this ____?" that can be answerable with "this is ____."

I was stuck at the idea that only "what" questions could be answered with "this is".

However, "This is a stupid question!" is not really an answer to the question "Is the earth flat?". It is an exclamation, implying that I will not answer.
