Hello!

I really like English, but it's very difficult to become fluent when you are not in an English speaking environment. What can I do?

Hello,

I'm graduated from the English Department of the University of Ouagadougou with a B.A. and I'm working since 2005 as an administrative assistant, but I don't like this job. That's why I'm doing my best to improve my English in order to get a better job.

Hi Sahid59,

Very pleased to read you and thank you for your words which encourage me. It's not really easy to support at any time the bad moods and rudness of people, and so on and so forth. I'm doing my best to acceed one day to a best position.

Hi, I am Mechelle. I am exposed to English but not as our primary language but secondary....Like you I want to learn more about it. Your concern is somehow my concern too. But you know what, I do search for more things about it in the Internet or study some articles regarding English. Also, I do love to take exams or short English grammar tests...Take chances to be more exposed and converse using that language. By that way, we practice what we learn and get to know more about it as we listen and go on with the conversation. Very Happy

Hello Mechelle,

Thanks for your message. As I'm not quite often exposed to people speaking English, that is why I look for sites which can help me in this way and I came accross this site. I sometimes go on the BBC site where I can learn also. And I can tell you that I've learn a lot. But sometimes also I'm ashamed, and I don't dare speak with relatives who are learning English to.
