Hi,

I'm Judith from Ouagadougou, and one of my dream is to speak English one day as a native speaker. It's not only because I want to get a better job by speaking English, but I "love" this language since I started to learn it at secondary school.

Hi,
I am sure you will, it's clear in your words that you have the ability to do that because you love this language, this dream will become true.

Your first step will be to learn the difference between "like" and "as".

A person who speaks English "as" a native speaker is a native speaker.

If a person is not a native speaker, but he speaks English that is the same as a native speaker's, then he speaks English "like" a native speaker.

Similarly:

He came to Paris as a tourist.
= He was a tourist.

He came to Paris like a tourist.
= He wasn't a tourist, but he traveled the way a tourist does.
