TOEFL® Reading Strategy when having no time left

Hi there,

I am taking the TOEFL in two days. My main problem next to the speaking section the reading section. I did already some preparation tests but I am always running out of time because it takes me so long reading the whole text. But if I don`t read is carefully I miss out on very important thing which might be asked later on. My question is: I it better at the and when running out of time in the reading section to just guess and take a random answer, hoping to chose the right one, or is it better to leave them blanc? So, do wrong answers count negatively on your Score, or it is the same taking the wrong answer or leave them blanc?

Hi Mara,

There are no negatives in TOEFL test. And if you think that you cannot finish reading in time, you need to increase your reading speed first. Answering questions with guess doesn't fetch the marks.
