Hi,
They really mean the same. 'Related' suggests there is a definite connection and 'relating to' suggests referring to and is not so direct.

I remember reading some entry from the internet explaining quite a lot about the difference of the two words but I was still confused in the end.
If you could have some spare time, may you find the entry on the internet by searching "related vs. relating".
Your answer is really helpful and straightforward.
Thank you, Alan.

| Can the pair of "connected/connecting" be understood similarly, Alan? |

| Hi Alan, can you answer my question about the meaning of connected/connecting. Are they understood the way? |
