Which of the following expression is correct:

Appropriate Time or appropriate Timing.

When we say something should be done at the right timing. Then do we say right time or right timing.

.
Your fragments don't have enough context to judge appropriateness.

For example, you must check the safety of car engine before driving (not after driving). Should I say you should check the safety of car at an appropriate time or appropriate timing.

For example, you are hungry and you came to a restaurant in time when it was just opened for dinner. Your timing is great. On the other hand, if you came to a restaurant too late and it is closed for the day; your timing is not so good. It is actually bad.
