a.`It takes 4 hours from London to Athens by plane.`
b.`People speak more than 400 different languages all over the world.` c.`This is the museum where I have never been`. Gal. |
Hi, Vtornik! :) I'll make a try to help you, though I see there's nothing to help you with, because the sentenses written above are all of a correct word order :)

As to the train where peopele are... I think it shoud be a preposition IN, because if it was ON - all those passanges should have traveled on the top of the train :) There is an extra variant like "INSIDE THE TRAIN" - for to be sure. P.S. You didn't pointed out your location... so, do you know that your nick sounds like Russian day of the week? :?:

Hi, Milanya. I admit my mistake as to the prepostion use in the sentence above. But if you were more attentive, reading the author's post, you'd notice that he hadn't ask for any corrections, but the correct word order of the sentences. By the way, a word HOME can be used with or without a preposition AT, but that isn't mentioned in the link you gave. Here is another link including full information as to the preposition use: http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/prepositions.htm
You seem to be quite specific but not that much...
Anyway, thanx, your post made me use my wits :)

What does it mean? I am quite puzzled. _________________ con·text - The part of a text or statement that surrounds a particular word or passage and determines its meaning. |

I mean, Milanya, that you seem to be quite precise as to details but didn't notice that the information in the link you had posted wasn't complete. It's all about that "at" before "home". That's it.
Bye,
