Dear Peter and John,
Thanks for your last letter. Sorry, I haven't written you for a long time because I had some difficulties to find the information about the price of the round-trip tickets for trains.
The crossing between Cambridge to Edinburgh takes around 8 hours by car, 11 hours by coach but only 5 hours by train. Therefore, the best way of travelling to Edinburgh is to take the train. Indeed, it's more comfortable and quicker than coach. But the price is dearer $90 by train and $60 by coach (only on Friday and Saturday). We can go for the trip on Monday because they have the special price on Monday - it's only $75! To avoid feeling tired, we can leave for Cambridge at 7:56 am.
Well, that's all for now. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Mathieu _________________ First lesson - English, not english. I, not i. ~A student of English |
