Hi,

It might seem a little picky but I am really not very clear about the following two expressions:

1. mix the sauces together (in Torsten's comment) - I feel comfortable about it
2. mix the right balance of sauces together (original) - I feel mix should take sauces as its object but here balance theoretically takes over the role. Is it alright or otherwise something like 'mix the sauces together with a right balance'?

Hi,

'Mix the right balance' refers to the right proportions of the sauces and these can be 'mixed'.
