My soul is yours, treasure it within your heart. For surely as the night follows day one day you will wish to part. But my soul will be yours to take with you in the hope that it will grow and bathe in your love Forever, we are hiker through eternity and never the rising sun will ever find us where sundown lost us...

Ok lets see if I can help you guys to write some thing poetic after all we all are here to improve our English and why not enhance the poetic part of the language too.

Does anyone remembers their child hood nursery rhymes?

I know twinkle twinkle little star
I know Baa Baa Black sheep
I know Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
I know jack and jill went up the hill
I know little jack horner
I know itsy bitsy spider
and a few more Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
So come on and post your favorite child hood poem or a nursery rhyme?
if its in your own language then write it in original language and then translate it in English.
P.S. If anyone wants to read any of the above mentioned poems or rhymes please ask me I will be glad to write them down in full length.

Ilyas, my poems are in a similar vain to yours, but more " down to earth."

Destiny. A lovers thoughts.

No-one can change, what is destiny.
Can't re-arrange, what is meant to be.
Things that have since happened,
And things we still don't know,
Were written in the sands of time,
Long, long ago.
We had to meet, that was destiny,
And what had to be, simply had to be.
Now, I have the answer,
I possess the key.
Here in my heart ,
I've found my destiny.

Not good, but eh, I'm an old guy.
