Well, I myself think both are correct, and which one to be chosen depends on what we imply when raising that question. If we expect there are more than one person to be fond of it, then we use 'are any of you', and vice versa. What do you think? _________________ :(... something we never have again, I know... No, I don't think, it is dictionary which thinks --
One or some or every or all without specification
Now -- what natives think? :) _________________ First lesson - English, not english. I, not i. ~A student of English |

Hi,
It's possible to say: Is any one of you? But 'any' on its own in that question imples plural and so we need to say: Are any of you?
