Hello everyone,

Could you please tell me if intimate friend, close friend and personal friend are similar in meaning. Is there difference between them? And please also tell me if it make sense to you if I say: private friend. Many thanks! :)

.
An intimate friend is a very close friend. A close friend is a close personal friend. 'Private friend' is meaningless.

Thank you, Mister Micawber. I'd like to know if it is possible for me to say: private relationship(have a good relationship?)?
