Hello, I've just joined the forum. My name is Cisca and I am from the Netherlands. I am a teacher for Dutch as a second language.
I like to go to Britain and I like to read English books, but my reading is much better than my speaking.

Hi Cisca, I too am a newbie here, and as yet, have had no replies to my self-introduction.
I live in Essen with my wife and I've lived here for 5 years. My wife is Deutsch but I am from Torquay in Devon, England.
I hope to improve on my English grammar as I teach a few German youngsters at home in my spare time.. I don't really need to learn so very much, as their English is at best only at the intermediate stage.
My wife and I oftimes visit Venlo for a change of scene for our weekend shopping.
Anyway, it's nice to meet you, and I hope we can speak yet again.

Hello, my name is Marketa and I am from Czech republic. I have small problem with english speaking but I try read of english book, I like flowers, animals. I like read of books not only english- I like read novels, crime story, books about animals and flowers.... I work in company, which produce army and working shoes and I have to communication with our costumers in english and therefore I need improve my English.

I like to read novels, crime stories, and books about animals and flowers.
I work for a company which produce boots and shoes for the Army, and working boots for industrial workers.
I have to communicate with some of our customers in English, and therefore I need to improve my English skills, both in writing and talking.
