Hi Liza,
Simply use the word 'photos' or 'pictures'. A word used to describe the photos you've taken say on holiday and are of no particular artistic merit, would be 'holiday snaps'.

Dear Alan,
Thank you for your quick answer. However, if I want to distinguish between a digital photo on a computer and a 'real' one in my hand, there is no better way, just simply 'photo'?
thanks again Liza |

I, too, would like to know the terms. Could we say 'digital photo' and 'printed photo'? _________________ First lesson - English, not english. I, not i. ~A student of English |
