none of the people on site seem to be asking about grammar which is the thing that annoys me alot when reading a newspaper or a book. sentences shouldn't begin with 'and' or 'but' and in all of the things i read especially books that is what happens. i am 59 and i can remember even in primary shool being taught the proper way to write sentences. i won't say i am a genious as i was a bad girl at school, kicked out of 2 schools and the third i walked out of. as a teenager i prefared coffee shops and dances but i'm old enough now to recall the right and wrong. i've always loved reading and it is making books dreadful, i feel like throwing them in the bin. my memory isn't great at present due to a fit were i hit the right side of my brain which is the short memory.

Hello Dandy,

With due respect should I ask --

1) Why shouldn't the sentence begin with 'and' or 'but'?

2) Why shouldn't we capitalize the words where it is needed?
