It happens because we have to use the genuine CDs for the Original Software needs..

I think the CD is coming along with the printed dictionary as free compliment...( I have purchased for only Rs. 175.00 [around USD 3.50] a Merriam-Webster dictionary along with a CD ..very useful.. )

So, as Lyfen told you, it is better to purchase the CD...
