Can someone please tell me if the following sentences are OK?

1) A sum of $1,000 will be given to such employees who work 10 hours a day.
2) A sum of $1,000 will be given to those employees who work 10 hours a day.

'Such' does not work in this construction. The 2nd is the only natural formation, but a possibility here is 'such employees as work'.
