The lecture tries to explain the problems associated with the Graded school system

1> Graded school system does not take into account the Individual needs of students

2>Different students have different levels of maturity but still they are put together in 1 group.

3>The system of Promotion is flawed, as it is not a clear reflection of the education or enlightenment of a student.

4>Student who are weak in certain sections of studies have to repeat all of the course, which leads to boredom and low self-esteem.

5> Certain students who take more time to prepare or understand material need to go over the material again and again, however the teacher may not be able to give them that time due to constraints of syllabus and time.

6>Also students who are quick to grasp material have to wait for new material to be presented to them,which can lead to both boredom and loss of interest.

7> Also the method of evaluation is group based standardized test,which does not cater to or bring out needs and proficiency of an individual.

8> The system needs to be remodelled so as to understand and fulfill the individual needs of a student and provide a positive input to its education
