I'd like to know if it is correct for me to say: I pop up an idea or I come up with an idea.

I meant to say: I suddently got an idea. :) Many thanks. :D

I think sudden idea can only be popped out not come out.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

You could say, " An idea has just popped into my head.
