Perseverance and the will to succeed, the will to enable you to reach your goals.
I had to seek the dictionary meaning of this phrase, in an attempt to satisfy the purists amongst our Forum members. I do know what it means, but it seems someone always knows better.
Perseverance and determination is what drove many of yesterdays heroes to achieve the seemingly impossible.
Sir Edmund Hilary to climb Mount Everest. Captain Matthew Webb, who swam the English Channel. Geraldine Mock, the first woman to fly solo around the world. Roald Amundsen , the first person to reach the South pole. Robert Edwin Peary, the first person to reach the North Pole.
They all had perseverance to achieve the seemingly impossible. To succeed !!!.
All of the non-native speakers here share that same dream .... the seemingly impossible task of mastering this dreadfully complicated English language.
It requires dedication, determination, practice, and perseverance to win through.
The burning question is, do you have it ?. _________________ Keep it simple ... Keep it interesting. |
