Frustration is a part of our life. And without it we won’t feel happy or satisfied ever. Without that barking dog you won’t ever enjoy calm and quiet nights. Without that mistakes you have made in tests your good results will never gladden you. Every feeling should be accepted with pleasure. Because without bad feelings we won’t ever feel good ones. |

Hi..Kitosdad..
You are doing fine with your daily contribution...please keep it up..
Additionally, in my opinion, if you can give some synonyms and antonyms for the words you explain daily, it will do better..

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Chinese proverb
Sahid59, why do you not start fishing for yourself and look it up in a dictionary or thesaurus? You cannot depend on Kitosdad doing your work for you. He is kindly giving you a starting point. _________________ con·text - The part of a text or statement that surrounds a particular word or passage and determines its meaning. |

Thanks to your response, Milanya....!
I thought it would be appropriate to provide some more information (with those synonyms and antonyms) in the same post....but I really wonder how, Kitosdad, a member of this much proficiency can say ''' I don't even know what these words mean...''' ?

Sahid59, there is one more word for you: joke –noun 1. something said or done to provoke laughter or cause amusement, as a witticism, a short and amusing anecdote, or a prankish act: He tells very funny jokes. She played a joke on him. I do believe that Kitosdad was joking. _________________ con·text - The part of a text or statement that surrounds a particular word or passage and determines its meaning. |

Sahid59, because it's really is true. I may appear educated, but I'm not really, just a word-smith with a big heart.

Mr. Google gave me 393,000,000 hits. I do not have time to sift through all of them. I am not too much into boxing either.
old one-two a series of two punches delivered quickly, one after another. Tom gave Bill the old one-two, and the argument was ended right there. Watch out for Tom. He's a master of the old one-two. http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/old+one-two _________________ con·text - The part of a text or statement that surrounds a particular word or passage and determines its meaning. |

Hi Sahid
I've been wanting to tell you for a while now that your avatar reminds me of an expression that is sometimes used here in the US:
"Talk to the hand."
And that fits rather nicely with the topic of this thread because I think you may well feel some frustration if someone says this to you.
I'm sure that is not what you intended your avatar to imply, but I thought you might be interested in the expression anyway.

Thank you Amy...for your kind reference to my avatar....
Actually the reason behind it is to walk on the 'RIGHT PATH' as well as praying God to 'SHOW US THE RIGHT PATH' as it is my 'right hand' in my avatar...
Hope you got it...

Good morning my friend SkiIucK, I do remember that it was the opening line to a song which old-time tap dancers used to sing.
" Gimme that old one-two, I said that old one-two ", " A one, a two, a diddly diddlly boo "
But I forget the remainder of the lyric.
