Hello everyone,

How many of you feel the need of a feature whereby you could subscribe to the notifications for a particular topic or thread? Also, you might be interested in NOT following few other discussions.

***************************

Hello Slava,

If you are reading this, can you please see if we can have such a thing in place? That would help us all tracking only those threads we subscribe to.

***************************

I have no idea whether this one is feasible --

Can we have alert pop-ups, which appear in the right hand bottom corner, to notify that you have received a reply to a thread you have subscribed to? This would be very convenient for us users. Also, it would save many refresh requests.

Can we have alert pop-ups,

This is possible by frequently checking your e-mails, plus the possibility to state that you are no longer watching a particular subject .

We/us users find this useful. Smile

Simply minimise your e-mail page on your tool bar.

I have now added this feature for you. Assuming you are logged in, you will now see in the lower left-hand corner of the page an link labeled, "Watch this topic for replies". Once you have selected this, a new link will appear, labeled, "Stop watching this topic".

Hello Bill,

Using emails is an inconvenient way, because we get away from the forum. Most of the web applications, nowadays, are focussing on rich user experiences. The alert feature is a trivial thing.

Hello David,

Thanks a lot for the quick response, so quick that I doubt whether that feature was there before and only I didn't know that Smile
