Can we have alert pop-ups,
This is possible by frequently checking your e-mails, plus the possibility to state that you are no longer watching a particular subject .
We/us users find this useful. 
Simply minimise your e-mail page on your tool bar.

I have now added this feature for you. Assuming you are logged in, you will now see in the lower left-hand corner of the page an link labeled, "Watch this topic for replies". Once you have selected this, a new link will appear, labeled, "Stop watching this topic".

Thanks a lot for the quick response, so quick that I doubt whether that feature was there before and only I didn't know that
