Sounds perfectly in order, although slightly humorous. _________________ Keep it simple ... Keep it interesting. |

Hi Daemon,
That sounds all right and suggests you are looking around and trying to find something. It usually has a hint of being a detective and trying to find a clue. I suppose it comes from the sort of behaviour practised by a dog.

Two terms I could get to --
1) The dogs that are trained to and works at using their senses (almost always the sense of smell) to detect substances such as explosives, illegal drugs, or blood. They are often known as sniffer dogs.
2) In computer world, the term 'packet sniffer' is used to describe a program which snoops on your network to collect data in transit. _________________ First lesson - English, not english. I, not i. ~A student of English |
