Task : The problems caused by work-related stress ( such as of productivity ) have become a concern for both employers and workers.
What do you think are the main causes of work-related stress and how can they be avoided?

It is generally known that work-related stress has become one of the most concerning issues that both nowadays managers and employees need to dwell on. In this essay, I will argue that time pressures and inappropriate working environments need to be addressed if we are to reduce stress levels.
Various statistics of social interest have shown that the main causes of work-related stress are people’s lack of time and also the environment in which they develop their activities. I support this point of view for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it is commune knowledge that the lack of time can have drastic consequences on one’s condition. For example, after I had to deal with a difficult project that involved a lot of research and a short deadline, I discovered that I had low blood – pressure, caused by high stress and time pressure. Needless to mention the way this condition affected my daily activities. I believe that measures need to be taken on a higher scale. Hectic schedules should be avoided as much as possible and people shouldn’t be given more than they can take. There are various situations in which workers are given difficult tasks that they cannot fulfill on time. Therefore, not only their professional life is endangered but also their private one, as they have less and less time for themselves and their families.
Secondly, I believe that inappropriate work environment also needs to be focused on. Millions of people need to deal with traffic congestion and a high rate of pollution. Moreover, their bureaus are often not provided with appropriate lightening and temperature conditions. They also need to share their space with their colleagues. All these aspects contribute to a high level of stress among people. I personally believe they should not accept working in inappropriate conditions. On the other hand, employees should try to understand better their workers’ necessities, so that efficient communication is achieved.
Work – related stress is a commune problem that needs to be solved. I strongly believe that time pressures and inappropriate work environment need to be reconsidered in order to reduce stress levels among both employers and workers.
