Hi everyone,

Even though I am hurry to talk in public for this eassy, I still want you guys to give some suggestions or opinions, especially for logical checks. Actually, I'll talk it in 12 hours. So you have some time, please help me out quickly. I checked it using the Microsoft word for confirming grammar actually. The eassy as follows:

Economic Development and Environmental Protection

There is a long-standing debate on the relationship between economic development and environmental quality.

In my humble opinion, economic development means the development of economic wealth for countries. It is the process by which a nation improves the economic, political and social well for its people. Environmental Protection is needed from various human activities. In addition, there are several issues for environmental protection, such as water toxics, pollutions of water, air, noise.

In my view point, economic development and environmental protection should coexist. Clearly, if we simply have economic development without caring about environmental protection, our earth will be damage completely. If our earth is damage, we, human beings’ health will be affected as well. As you might know, in recent years, we are facing many problems about our environment. For instance, global warming, which means the weather is gradually hotter comparing with before. Global warming causes many ice-mountain dissolve. Many animals can’t survive, such as polar bear which inhabit in the Arctic. On the contrary, if we only concern about environmental protection, our economic will be decline. Many people will be poorer absolutely. Also, we really would like to have a convenient and better life, using advanced technologies. So we couldn’t have one of them only. So I think economic development and environmental protection should be mutual.

Certainly, we only have a planet. Unconditionally, we have responsibilities to protect and cherish it. Moreover, if we don’t care about our earth such as making many pollutions, our earth will be affected, our children and grandchildren could not have a better life as well. We can not be so selfish, can we?

All in all, as you might know we have argued environment protections for a couple of years. But we still have not achieve goals that protecting our environment, such as recycle in our life. So I think protection environment is important, but the most important thing is how to achieve it but not just a slogan. I extremely hope that all of us can consider our environment very much when we take many efforts in our economic growth. Thanks for your listening.
