A company is going to give some money either to support the arts or to protect the environment. Which do you think the company should choose? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Although art reflects our culture and custom but, I do not think it is basic requirement for survival of living creatures on our planet. In my opinion, three most important things for lives are air, water and plants. It is necessary to protect environment for our survival. Pollution on our beautiful planet is increasing day by day. If some major steps will not be taken then, it is possible that the only planet with life may be destroyed. It would be fruitful if company will give money to protect environment. We take many things from this environment so it is our duty to protect it which will help in flourishing life on the earth.

Money given by company can be used in various environmental protection programs which are running for our wellbeing. From my point of view today’s most severe problem is pollution, which is going out of control day by day. We can see adverse affect of increasing pollution for example global warming, change in climatic conditions, flood and drought which is destroying lives and nature. Money given by company can be used in two major areas, first in reducing water pollution and second in minimizing air pollution. According to the records, less than 1 percent of all water on Earth is available as groundwater and surface water suitable for human uses such as drinking and cooking. The remaining 97 percent is salt water and 2 percent is locked up in ice. Main sources of water like rivers and lakes are getting polluted for example river Ganga and river Yamuna of India. Company can give money for developing and promoting approaches for sustainable water resources management including environmental flows, which conserve biodiversity and support livelihoods. This money can be used for developing methods to reduce air pollution.

In the end I would like to say that, arts are because of us and we can not survive without healthy environment. It is more important to protect environment than cultures and custom.

It is true that before taking any major decision, it is better to take suggestions from others. Group decisions give us alternatives of decision and person can select the best one. Still I believe that sometimes people make an important decision alone. There are many decisions in person’s life in which they do not want to influence by others. Sometimes there is no time to discuss with others and decisions are made alone. Person feels more satisfied by the decision made by him. There are many circumstances in which people feel that they can make better resolution than others.

Some major decisions like choosing soulmate, selecting carrier, planning to buy new car and home are sometimes made by person alone. I do not think that person should make decision of marriage and selecting best soulmate by discussing with other. These are the some decisions which are based on person’s personal preference. Many times we make decision decisions on the basis of our experience and no one can judge it better than us. On of the common examples is selection of career by students, which is based on their own are of preference. No one can tell better than student itself that which field is best for his career. For example after graduation I decided to do post graduation in Management field, because according to my abilities and preference this was the best field for me. I does not discussed about this decision with anyone even not from my parents. There are many such decisions which we make on the basis of our inner influence. Another example is, if I am in the dangerous situation, such as the big problem concerned human's life, and I should decide something alone, then I should try to make an important decision alone.

So at last I would like to say, making decision alone or in a group depends on situations and type of decisions. CEO of any organization can not make decision of how to come out of financial crisis without proper discussion with is managers. If he wants to switch the company he can make this major decision alon
