interesting/ interested #4 (permalink) Sat Nov 28, 2009 8:43 am   interesting/ interested

“Interested” describes the feeling of the person.
It describes the feeling of the subject.

She was interested with the lesson.
I’m interested with reading books.
Interested applicants may submit applications online.

“Interesting” describes how you feel about the person or thing.

It was an interesting lesson.
This is an interesting book.
She is an interesting person.

same also with other "adjective of feelings" (this one is just my term) shocked, shocking, annoyed, annoying.
