Hi Alan:
Why not to say "lose any time", it sounds very common.

The idea is that if you are very worried about something, you might stay up all night worrying about it, and thus not sleep, or lose sleep.

So, as Alan said, to 'not loose sleep over it' means not to worry about it (or not worry about it very much).

Yes, it's a slight problem but quite honestly I wouldn't lose any sleep over it if I were you.

if 'lose sleep over sth' means ' not to sleep because of sth'='worry about sth', so it should be:

Yes, it's a slight problem but quite honestly I would lose any sleep over it if I were you.

what do you think?
thanks

Hi Saneta,

The point is that the speaker says: I would not lose any sleep over it = I would not worry about it.

that's ok Mr Alan, thank you, I was confused because at first you wrote: This means worry about something and now :I would not worry about it.

Have a good night ;)
