Sonichka, you have to remember that not everybody is into Ugly Betty. I, for one, stopped watching it long ago and do not remember all the details. To answer your question I had to do reserch, which takes time.

All of this was not obvious from the bit you provided. This scrap of a sentence does not qualify as context.

It is all very simple when context is provided.
