The word for today is INDIFFERENCE.

In-diff-er-ence, the lack of respect to other peoples' existence or plight. A total lack of feeling toward other folk, or happenings.

The total disregard to an old person carrying heavy bags, or waiting to cross the road in heavy traffic.

The cries of a lost child seeking its parent.

Loutish behaviour of young folk in public places.

Ignoring the pleas for help from an injured person.

The list is endless, and I'm fairly sure that we have all felt indifferent in certain circumstances.

Let's put an end to indifference.

Look around you, and see just what a difference you could make by just applying a little more feeling and compassion toward your fellow being.

A nice smile, or a big " Hello " goes a very long way to brightening the life of another who is feeling low.
