Sat-is-fac-tion. The feeling that comes after doing something, and doing it well. It may well be something as simple as cutting the hedge, mowing the lawn, or polishing your car. You did it. It looks good. People have passed comments on your good work. You are satisfied, and filled with satisfaction. All is well with the world.

Satisfaction also comes from seeing your children mature into polite, considerate adults.
Aware of their responsibilities to their children and to other people.

Satisfaction comes in many forms, both personal and impersonal.

Having come to a mutually agreeable deal with a seller, brings satisfaction.

Helping a neighbour with a problem that you are able to resolve successfully, leads to a feeling of satisfaction for you both.

Yes, satisfaction comes at no cost whatsoever, other than a little effort, thought and consideration. How so very different from success, but far more worthwhile.

I believe the most satisfaction when you exceed the expectation of the others, that in doing something worthwhile just to get their smile
at that time you can be a good man
when you are at the forefront, you are getting better, you are feeling well
