TOEFL® essay: Do you prefer to eat at restaurnt or stands, or prepare at home?

Peaple seem to have tow option when they wat to eat .either, at food stands,restaurants , or they can prepare and eat at home .In my case , i would rather eat outside because the food is varied and interesting ;it is less work for me ,and it saves time.

In fact, eating outside is really good because you can have varied and interesting food .as a human being with vorcious appetite you can enjoy different dish of different countries .For example , you can go to an italian restaurant to have pizza , or indian one to try spicey food such as rize in jar .ALSO, you can try moroccan tajine or brochettes.furthermore,at restaurants you can be served either you are vegetarian or carnivore. the restaurants staff make delicous salades with different vegetarian ingredients,and they make good steak in stove as well .Finally,you can try fast food packages or what we call MACDONALD4S because they serve really good harmburgers with coca and different cheesy food if you like chees .Eating at stands or restaurants gives you the opportunity to try and enjoy different food dish .

Another reason for eating outside is that it is less work for me .if you are working in an office and it's time for lunch ,you can get step out and served easily in restaurants because food is already prepared for customers ; you just need to get your hands washed ,get menu,and order your favorite dish .another reason is that you can just make a phone call to get your food .For example, if you feel like eating pizza today and you are by your phone , you just dial th pizza restaurant's phone number and wait for your delivery through a ring bell by pizza man .It's really good idea to eat outside because you get your food without sweating.

Finally, eating in restaurants saves time .if you are in a hurry and you need to catch or be on time for something , you can get your food in a minutes in macdonald's restaurants.For excample, if you are a commuter and it would take much time to reach home ,you can so fast get a package of food delivered through windows glass as you drive by .Finally, taking a break from your job and you wnat to eat so fast , this is not going to suit you unless you go to a restaurants because it does not take so long to enjoy your meal in a short while .Eating outside will definitely help to save your precious time .

to conclude,good experience of food just happens when you go to a restaurant or a stand because of delicous ,varied , and interesting food ; very easy to get served and it's not a time consuming issue .

Good morning Shakespeare, you have written quite a lot in your essay, but without any real thought being given as to the order of your presentation.

The benefits of each of your eateries should be highlighted and separated from the others.

The advantages of fast food restaurants should be given extra mention.

There are many spelling mistakes that need attention in your text.

Unnecessary punctuation marks need to be removed. Grammar and sentence structure is poor.

All in all, you have put in a great deal of work which will not be well received.

Better to start again, and give more thought to exactly what you are trying to say.

Don't hurry through your composition, as this will give the impression, ( as it does here ) that you have not given much thought to your task.

Nevertheless, I do know that you have tried hard, and I appreciate how difficult a subject English is, but you ARE getting there. It only takes time. Well done.

I think it would be better if you started to stick to basic spelling and punctuation rules before you work on a new topic.

hey torsten ,
i worked on spelling and punctuations quite a bit .now , i have something aurgent ,maybe it's the basic of writing.
i was a little bit confused about the structure use of sentences in the essay.my teachers at the university told me to make use of adjs,advs,passive voice ...etc.but, i did not stop here , as i tried to analyse the issue on my own way ,so i found the structure in all writing looks as follow: noun phrase+prep phrase
= (ajd+noun) +( with.......or of......)
OR ? noun phrase + aux to be
= (adj+noun +is or was + adj)
i also found some adj comprison to make it sounds stronger.such as pretty, fairly, quite, more (attractive),better ... my question is

WHAT KIND OR FORM OF STRUCTURES DO YOU ADVISE ME TO MAKE USE OF ? please ths is aurgent .thank you !

Good morning Shakespeare, well your spelling seems to have improved, but there is not one iota of improvement in your writing.

Your persistent use of "i" will be the downfall of yourself and many students who write essays.

You surely cannot pretend that you have been working hard in improving yourself.

This Forum is a veritable goldmine of information for anyone who really wants to improve.

This thread alone contains dozens on essays that have been submitted, and edited, by people who give up their time to do so. If you, on your own, cannot glean everything that you need from this Forum, then your next move is private tuition, and that is going to be expensive.

Refer to the many dozens of articles written by Alan on the home page. Note the sentence structure, the punctuation, the actual construction of the article itself. How it has an introduction, a main body, and an often humorous conclusion.

In conclusion ( :) ), if I were you, then I would spend far more time reading these articles than reading text and grammar books. There is far more to be learned there than anywhere else.
