Please check the grammar in this sentence. It might be a little too heavy, but I am not asking about the style at this point (although SEPARATE comments on style would be most welcome). I am primarily interested in whether my use of tenses and singular/plural is correct. PS I replaced the actual subjects of discussion with dummy ones so as not to compromise my anonymity. The actual subjects require a very formal approach to the writing. THANK YOU!

Almost no commentator that has ever written about [ice cream], regardless of their jurisdiction, did so without making a reference to [milk].

Do you think commentators have jurisdiction? I, for one, am not sure. Your sentence is incomprehensible (impossible to understand) that is why nobody cares to hazard a guess.

Any reporter who has written about ***, ( regardless of their jurisdiction ), has ever done so without making a reference to ***, in the same article.
