The word for today is:-NATURE. #1 (permalink) Sat Apr 11, 2009 11:01 am   The word for today is:-NATURE.

NAY-TURE ...... everything you see around you in the countryside.
The trees, the grass, the animals that are found there, all go together to present to us nature in its natural form. All are God's creations, and all are totally unaffected by our modern lives, but our lives depend so very much upon nature for our very existence.

How often do you stop for a moment to just look at a tree.? Not very often I'd wager.
Yet if you were to wonder at it's form and the complexity of its branch formation, its leaves, its buds, you may wonder why we take this wonderful example of nature at face value. This huge tree, perhaps hundreds of years old, it's branches extended to allow its leaves maximum exposure to the sunlight, essential for the photosynthesis process, resulting in the release of oxygen from the the leaves of the tree. Without this process many of us would surely suffer ill health, due to the oxygen deficiency in the atmosphere.

Here in Germany, even in the main street of the cities, trees are everywhere. Maybe Germans realised a long time ago the necessity and benefits of trees, and therefore we have an abundance of trees everywhere here in Germany. At one time it was customary to plant a tree whenever a child was born into a family. I found that a charming idea.

What a wonderful way to give thanks to nature, without which we would all suffer.

So, next time you pass by a big old tree, give it a big smile, and thank it for its contribution to your daily life.

Kitosdad.

(we often miss a lot to think about the way our mother nature contributes the very essence of our life....)

(It is great to plant a tree on each child birth..but alas..we are doing just the opposite to shelter ourselves..cutting trees as much as possible for many reasons... )

What a wonderful way to give thanks to nature, without which we would all suffer. (you must be a poet to admire and nurture the mother nature...)

So, next time you pass by a big old tree, give it a big smile, and thank GOD for HIS contribution to your daily life.

Kitosdad.

please. I can't resist commenting your explanation...
