Without doubt Anthony Hopkins. If he is in the film, then it's a cert to be good.
" Meet Joe Black." Definitely in my top three, along with " Somewhere in Time " ( Christopher Reeves, Jane Seymour ) and "The Silence of the Lambs. " _________________ If you need me, I'm here. |

I loved his performance in film: The Bounty.. (old film).. But unfortunately Anthony Hopkins accepts supporting roles in some movies which doesn't suit his level and history. I once found him sucking a teat of a little girl , it was bad scene ( bad action of old man).
I liked him In that film when he was struggling a bear. _________________ We are always looking for a miracle but the things we are used to seeing are more miraculous than those we are looking for. |

I loved " Meet Joe Black " because, for me, it had so many emotional connections.
He was about to celebrate a birthday, as I was. He was approaching old age, as I was. He was having slight heart attacks, as I was. His name was Bill, same as my own.
There were many similarities which had me riveted to the screen. Brad Pitt played a superb role as Death.

Ok Bill.. let me tell you more about his role in (The Bounty).
His character was strong , reliable, and decided. His voice was stentorian, full of strength, confidence , and firmness as if he was born with a cap of captain. You can notice Mell Gibson ( his contumacious friend ) looking at him with a couple of eyes full of admiration.
Unlike most actors who had spent a long time on the theater which may affect their performance negatively as an actors in cinema and TV, Anthony Hopkins had gotten a great benefit from that experience.. That experience which made him more confident. The only problem in that great actor is " he has no ability to keep his principle." _________________ We are always looking for a miracle but the things we are used to seeing are more miraculous than those we are looking for. |

The Soldier film..
When you watch it, you couldn't imagine anyone except Kurt Russell to act the role of The soldier film. His stern face makes you guess how many hard experiences he passed in his life..
It was really wonderful film of wonderful actor called Kurt Russell... _________________ We are always looking for a miracle but the things we are used to seeing are more miraculous than those we are looking for. |

Their are many great actor and actresses now. You can choose many of them. But for me the best is Drew Barrymore and Jackie Chan. |

You can see the great Jimmy Stewart and Katherine Hepburn working together in the classic film "The Philadelphia Story". Another all-time Hollywood actor, Cary Grant, also stars. _________________ Billie Jean is not my lover. Hee. |

Clint Eastwood
The hero of western movies
He is still giving the art a lot of his life and art is still generous with him.
He filled his life with art, so he deserves life giving him additional years as a gift..... doesn't he?
Hi Prez.. You have lit the page with your appearance.
How do you see Clint Eastwood?
Good luck. _________________ We are always looking for a miracle but the things we are used to seeing are more miraculous than those we are looking for. |

| My favourite is Natalie Portman so far, starting with her "Leon" at the age of 11 , in Alen's "Everyone Says I Love You' and the last I've seen " My Blueberry Nights " of Kar Wai Wong . And what's amazing, she didn't lose her affection after my viewing and reading the interviews. I would say it doesn't happen very often. Why do I love her? Maybe it's the combination of her teenager inocent look and the ideas of a quite grown-up well educated person, so the mild and pink combined with hard and blue. And the choice of directors gives her bonuses, to my mind, too. |

Jam, Clint Eastwood has progressed from a tight-lipped gunslinger of few words, to a portrayer of deep feelings. His performance, along with Morgan Freeman, in " Million Dollar Baby " was really superb.
He also transformed the Western as we knew it, into something completely new to Cinema goers. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly has to rank amongst the greatest westerns ever made.
He displayed his hidden talents in, " Play Misty for me, " and then followed the " Dirty Harry " series. He has done so much to boost the public's interest in movies that he deserves all of the accolades that he is awarded.
Clint certainly will go down in Cinema history as one of the greatest. _________________ If you need me, I'm here. |

Jam,
Wassup gurl?!
Clint is great (see KD's post). I loved him in Good/Bad/Ugly, the Dirty Harry films, and others. I recently saw El Camino and loved it... and Million Dollar Baby was another tear-jerker.
You mentioned Braveheart earlier, a film I love. You're going to think I'm a mass-marketing pop-culture sellout, but here are my fave modern films:
Titanic (long live Jack and Rose -- it wasn't really about the ship, something its critics don't get. I loved the last scene so much that I saved a YouTube version. I still cry every time I watch it.)
Gladiator (vengeance, thy name is Maximus)
Forrest Gump (Hanks at his finest, IMO)
Braveheart (Freeeedom!!! This film made me ashamed to be related to Robert the Bruce)
The Usual Suspects (slick ending; Spacey is great)
Saving Private Ryan (AKA Saving Ryan's Privates -- Hanks shows his mettle again)
Heat (DeNiro and Pacino across from each other at a small table in a diner... wonderful)
The Ring (how does she kill them exactly? And... nice awful death masks -- I didn't think a mouth could open that far!)
The Sixth Sense (I see a great ending) _________________ Billie Jean is not my lover. Hee. |
