I'm never seen it yet, but I suggest the photo taken in Asia, maybe Philipine or Thailand

Hi Bill,

Why do you think frozen lemonade is a new fad? Also, does the term 'frozen lollies' make any sense or is just 'iced lollies'?

Thanks,
Torsten

And you base this assumption on....?

I'm curious what you think you see in the picture that indicates a "new fad".

Yeah, it's pretty odd that anything in the picture would be considered new. Even more bizarre would be that a Brit would gather from such a photo that Americans must not have some kind of frozen treat that's been around since at least the 1920s. Where he divined that, there's no telling. I think his trip to Philly must have sent him off the deep end.

Americans have had popsicles (or "iced lollies" as our British friend wants to call them) since dirt was new. However, that's obviously not what the lady is selling. A "frozen lemonade" stand would be selling lemonade slush, something like a frozen Coke -- in a cup.

The only thing that strikes me as odd is that a lady with a stand like that is selling only one product from it. There's a Mexican man who pedals a three-wheeled freezer through a neighborhood I frequently pass through, and he's got practically the equivalent of a corner grocery store in that thing.

Looks more like a frozen woman to me. LOL.

There is no sign of a " Slush " machine, or anything to sell.

Maybe just selling the stand.! Gone out of business.

The location is surely anywhere but England.Looks beautiful though.
