I am no longer envied by others, nor do I crave to be, because I now know better .....

Envy is an excessive, often unhealthy, level of desire to be in another person's position, such as wealth or social status or simply good fortune. Envied is the past tense of envy. e.g., She envied the lottery winner so much that she kept buying tickets with the same winning number.
