Your question is hard to understand, because it is written in such bad English. For example, "u" is not a word in English.

Please write your question in your best English, and make it clear what you are asking.

Jamie, that WAS his first post. Cut him a little slack mate, a little slack.

No slack needed. These students can write in English instead of chat room slop if they want to. You'll notice that when they're told to write in English, they can produce it. It may not be perfect, but at least it's not deliberately bad, as this post was.

Jamie, I do not disagree with you.

My main concern is the fact that so many people seem to want to get themselves tied up in grammar, instead of concentrating and immersing themselves in the basics.

I did try to decipher the post, ( successfully or not ) and felt it fitting to give a positive response.

If you're not sure you understand a post, and you give it an affirmative response -- as you did -- then you may be confirming something that's false, and the person could walk around with a misconception for a long time. If you don't understand someone for sure, it's best to ask them to clarify, rather than just to fire off a "Yes." This person wasn't looking for encouragement of poor English, we was looking for information, and you responded without being certain of what information he wanted.
