Hit my 1,000 th. post today without actually noticing it. Just done so.

As the applause slowly fades, I'd just like to say that I have enjoyed every minute of my short stay here, and I've had so much fun.

The comradeship you have shared with me has been truly heart-warming, and I have made several close personal relationships, for which I am really grateful.

Although I am not a teacher, the Moderators have been very tolerant and lenient with me, by allowing me to step on their toes occasionally, for which I now humbly apologise. Hopefully they will continue to tolerate me a while longer.

Kitosdad.

Don't you think you have been talking too much?

That, of course, is a joke. :P

Congrats Bill, it is fun to follow your posts, and sometimes I do learn something new from you.

It will surely take me a very long while to get my post count that high, maybe in another 100 years or so? But then we'll have a party.

Go on like you did this past month or so, I'm sure you have been a great help to a lot of people here.

Andrea :)

Jam, there is a teacher inside of us all. The wonder of it all, is that there are so many different subjects that each can teach the other, no matter how poorly educated.

Humility, kindness, politeness..... the list is endless. Everyone has something to impart.
Trouble is, many wish to keep their gift to themselves.

Andrea, I just hope I can get to your party, if only in spirit. Who knows, God's good.

Bill.

Hi Bill,

You certainly are a communicator. I echo Slava's comments. It's certainly very useful to have comments like yours on the forums, which are both informative and pleasantly informal.

Bill Congratulations. You may feel that your time for learning is past. but do stay on and pass your knowledge. Learning can be acquired by teaching.

Hi Dear Kitsodad,
I also congratulate you on your achivements. One day,one of my friends told me,"Who dares to teach must not cease to learn, because by learning you will teach and by teaching you will understand."
Turning to being TEACHER,I think what the teacher is,is more importnt than what he teaches.
I wish you the best of luck in your life, especially here on the forum.

Good morning Morteza, I thank you for your good wishes.

My dearest hope is that I can help a few non-native speakers to overcome both their shyness and lack of confidence when tackling this difficult language of ours.

You yourself show a remarkable ability, and for this I congratulate you.

Should you see any misplaced commas in my text, then please be kind enough to point them out. LOL.

Regards my friend. Kitosdad.

Hi Mr. Kitsodad,
That's very kind of you to think highly of me.However,I am not in a position to show you the details of the English language.I just have a rudimentary knowledge of it,so I am in most need of help to improve my English.
I would like to express my special thanks to all of you for your kindness which is appreciated by all of users on this forum.
Best regards,
Morteza
