I took the SAT® practice test and got a 460 score!

So I apply for the May 2nd test, thinking that I was prepared and everything do to my high grades and usually doing good on AP english test, despite being on ESL 3 years ago, and then I took the practice test and got a 460!!!! how can I bring that avereage up for like 200 points faster.

have you taken any practice exams? this will give you a better sense on where you are and how to get where you want to be.

The college Board's official SAT study guide has 8 sample SAT tests. The book Answers and Explanations by Peter Tanguay has the complete explanations for the best way to answer each test question. That's what I did. Good luck:)

Even if you know the material, learning test strategies will make your score. Just because you do well in school doesn't mean you don't have to invest a lot of time in studying and learning about the test. First of all, get a test book or take a class. If you are a good student, you have the potential to score well, so don't sell yourself short by not preparing. This is your future!

i agree with everyone -practice tests help- but you gotta prepare and get some books before you jump into the tests....after that if you are looking to practice try practicethesat.com for the tests every Saturday...its really fun and challenging and free
