For example, I am attuned to Tom because he is my classmate. or I am attuned to how to use this item.

Sure you can.When you both have the same attitudes and outlook on life.

Doesn't quite sound right, but it is. We are in unison is almost the same.

Both sound " quaint " but are correct.
