Hi Magda,

Both expressions refer to talking a great deal - to excess in fact. The more colourful one: talk the hind leg off a donkey suggests that you not only talk a lot but also that you can be very persuasive in the way you talk. Rabbit on about something suggests that you also talk a lot but this time you keep talking about the same thing.
