Is IELTS course is enough for learning English?

Is IELTS course is enough for learning English? I am doing this course under British Council.

This depends what your needs are, IELTS has a very high reputation amongst corporate recruiters, as well as being very handy when you want to emigrate to NZ, Canada and Austrailia.

What would you consider to be enough, and in what context?
A certificate is never enough if you do not keep on the ball, and the theory is that certificates should really be renewed every 3-5 years.
It only gives you a snap shot of where your level and skills are at the time of taking it. In my honest opinion for longevity it is best to have a robust and life long learning plan .
