010: “When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success.” Do you agree or disagree with the quotation above? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your position.
There is a saying that success is a combination of 99% capacity and only 1% luck. Despite of the minority of luck, it must be concerned as the most important factor leading us toward our bright future for two reasons as following.
At the first glance, it is obviously that we can not achieve our goal without spending time in researching and applying our knowledge and experience. Any one who prepare himself or herself carefully seems to be easier to approach the succession than the other. However, hard working is not enough. We still need luck because of its decidable function. For instance, the farmer can fertilize their field to step up their goods and, through the first step of process, every thing seem accordingly, but they hardly control the weather such as rain, sun light, wind… Hence, a huge amount of heavy rain will result in the overwhelming death of trees or plants so, in reality, the farmer must suffer seriously the consequence they did not forecast before. This example has proven that naturally people can not attach their final goal without the luck’s support.
Last but not least, luck importantly joins its hand to many reputable inventions. Why I say this is because Niwton created his theory “law of motion” by seeing an apple coming down to the ground, Noben found his great element in making bomb when he got tired and went out for a walk and, suddenly, he caught his sight of it ,etc. Thus, these examples have claimed that luck is very significant in order to catch our best solution.
To sum up, I again myself disagree with the statement that “When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success.” To be honest, Luck makes our life more vividly and surprisingly for it is unpredictable to grasp.
