PLease help me with this exercise
read the passage and choose the best answer

In 776 B.C, the first olympic game was held at the foot of mount Olympus to honor the Greek's chief God, Zeus. the Greek emphasized physical fitness and strength in their education of youth. Therefore, contests in running, jumping, discus and javelin throwing, boxing and horse and chariot racing were held in individual cities, and the wimmer competed every 4 year at mount Olympus. Winner was greatly honored by having olive wreats placed on their head and having poem sung about their deeds. Originally these were held as games of friendship, and any wars in progress were halted to allow the game to take place.
The Greek attached so much impotance to these games that they calculated time in four-year cycles called "Olympiads" dating from 776 B.C

I think it a much better idea for you to do the exercise yourself first, and we then tell you whether it is right or wrong.

If we do it for you you will never learn.

The winners didn't place the olive wreaths on their own heads, so 1A is wrong.

Winner was greatly honored by having olive wreaths placed on their head , this means that somebody else placed them there.

It simply means that anyone at war stopped fighting to go to the games, like a ceasefire.
