Hi everyone,
I've heard this expression a lot lately. Nevertheless, I have no clue about its meaning, how you should use it and when. Ok...if someone could explain me that in-depth I'd appreciate it so much...

Thanks a lot!

If something is meant to be, the idea is that it's predestined to be and that the parties involved should accept it.

It's often said as a way of caving in to the inevitable, or to try to convince someone that it's pointless to continue resisting against a situation, emotion, feeling, etc.

Good morning Serzige & Skrej,

No-one can change what is destiny.

Can't rearrange " what is meant to be."

Thank you guys...
Anyway, I'd like to have more examples in other tenses...Would it be correct something like "You will be meant to be a loser"? Ha,ha,ha.

Thanks in advance!

You were born to be a loser, a poet, a great pianist, a leader of men, and many many more.

Soul-mates is the nearest that most ordinary people achieve. The feeling that you have found someone destiny planned for you to meet.( Usually your first girl-friend. ) :) :)
