My breakfast #2 (permalink) Sun May 03, 2009 5:55 am   My breakfast

Hi Jamie (K),

I am from one of the South-East Asian countries, very close to Thailand. I usually have rice with pork or fish for breakfast while my family members enjoy rice porridge in the morning.

What about you?

I live in the USA.

I don't eat breakfast usually, but when I do it generally includes one or more of the following:

Scrambled eggs
Toast
Hashbrowns
Sausage
Bacon
Pancakes
Waffles
Fruit (EG peach, orange, pear, apple)
Oatmeal
Cereal

I've breakfasted in many places. To this day my favorite breakfast was at Granny's Pantry in LaValle, Wisconsin:

Two eggs, scrambled, served over a mound of crispy (fried) corned beef hash.. with toast and hashbrowns on the side.

It tasted great and I always ate it with family -- my mom grew up down in the Reedsburg area, which has themost fertile soil on earth -- the dirt is black. Not dark brown... black.

Meh!

Artificial stimulants are for suckers!

hehe

Yeah, whatever, I guess I'm a(n) hypocrite -- occasionally I enjoy a poor man's mocha at work:

- Cheap office coffee +
- Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate mix

; )

Hypocrites suck

Or

Suck hypocrites

hehe

(sorry, I'm not usually this bad. But, you know, don't let your kids see that.)

Tea, tea, tea. ( Never coffee. ) Ciggie, ciggie, ciggie.

Followed by a longish walk with dog(s). Weight; 76 Kilos ( 12 stone. )

Damn you, KD, ya had to say "ciggie".

Well I am over the spins and more or less still awake -- have not yet passed out (though I am beginning to feel the tell-tale signs of a hangover now. YAY!!! It'll only last until about noon, my time -- the next nine hours.) so I suppose it's time for a(nother) cigarette.

I hear that breathing the air in LA is akin to smoking four cigarettes each day. And Mexico City's air is worse, and Beijing's too.

Ugh. What a wonderful world. (Louis Armstrong was great BTW).

A hangover is a sign of dehydration. :D

You should drink plenty of water and it won't last all that long. And get some sleep, it shortens the time a bit.

Good morning Prez, I forgot to add that I NEVER drink alcohol and rarely eat meat. Fish and sea-food are my favourites. ( Boring old bugger eh ! ) :) :)

You'll get over the spinning. :D :D

Bill.

I am a Pisces and (lo and behold) generally am not into seafood.

However...

You and I could probably have a great time eating cod (I must have mine fried and with tartar sauce), drinking tea... having a cigarette after the meal... and discussing the physical merits of the females we see as they pass our vantage point.
