How is "May" used in past, present and future tenses? #1 (permalink) Mon May 04, 2009 5:15 am   How is "May" used in past, present and future tenses?

I have doubts in the use of model "may"

In past,
"He might have bought that car."
In present tense,
"He may buy that car."

When talking about future,
"He may be buy that car." or
"He might be buy that car."

Are the above sentences correct?

Hi,

The first two sentences are fine.

The last two sentences should read:

When talking about the future,
"He may be buying that car." or
"He might be buying that car."
