Hi everyone,
Nice to meet you all.
I just bought the TV sitcom "Friends" the other day and found there were many slangs in it, such as icky, anal retentive and so on. Could anyone tell me if these words are frequently used in daily life? Thank you.

Hi,

The answer to your question is 'yes' in American society - incidentally 'slang' is a non-countable noun - no plural
