Hi,

The usual expression is 'waterlogged'. 'Water soaked' is not an accepted expression. Usually it is assumed that 'soaked' is with water and is on a smaller scale as in: I left the chairs out in the garden and after the heavy rain they were soaked.

meaning for waterlog #6 (permalink) Thu May 20, 2010 11:17 am   meaning for waterlog

Hi Alan sir
Thank you for your explanation regarding waterlogged and water soaked.
What you mean to say waterlog is concerned with big scale like railwayline or something like that whereas watersoaked with small scale like chair, bench like this.
If there is any mistake please correct it or ignore it.

Thank you once again for your reply.
